Here are some samples of Chord Maestro running on a mobile phone. The look of the program varies quite a lot between brands, so it might look totally different on your phone.

Chord diagram A chord diagram for C major on a guitar with standard tuning. After the chord name there are two numbers inside a pair of brackets. The first number says which variation of the chord is currently shown, and the second number shows the total number of variations (limited to 10)
Chord abbreviations Common abbreviations for chord names.  There are many chord types, and to make it a little bit more complex that also have many different names.  This list might help find out what chord they are actually talking about.
Sound setup Setup how the chord should be played in the program. Here you can select strumming speed and instrument used. You have access to all the MIDI instruments, so it is actually quite funny to try them out. You can also do this in the demo version.
